March is closing up with one week left and numbers look pretty good with 150s out selling all. The 50cc scoots are picking as people move into spring and summer as usual. Scootertronics continues to grow at a rapid rate that comes close to hard to keep up with so what happen is are customer service starts to suffer. We will be doing all we can to prevent this by hiring more and mostly contracting out our warehouse help and book keeping so I Michael can keep our customers happy but as  always you can not make everyone happy. So when this happens a bad name is put on all the scooter industry.

 The Strada line continues to sell well with the RX200 being the only one we are shipping at this time. Our very own Strada Streaker we get thru Primo scooters does make up the difference for the gap left by the other Strada models from PSF not being available at this time. The Streaker is the only we sell with a trunk so this usually seals the deal we will however offer anyone a trunk who ask when buying for free. Tank is a good example of scooters that do not come with trunks and we give them away to Tank buyers. The ability to carry your things on a scooter is very important to most scooter buyers.

The Geely Falcon Model 18 has always been a big seller so these are picking up as well as our Classic Euro Retro Turbo GT with the upgraded engine to reach speeds of 45-MPH. Change the variator on this scooter and you can easily get much more low end and speed on the top side. We have three four stroke Turbo models the Classic, Metro Sport and the Metro Duo all are outstanding scooters that reach speeds of MPH ride two with ease and are sharp looking scooters.

Parts and hig performance parts are selling well as usual as more get their scooters out from the winter. Although we do have lots of parts its hard to keep them in stock and have found that the MRP Speed parts are working out to be the same as most Chinese scooters need, This is good because they are of better quality and and easy to get. Kelvar belts, variators, roller weights carbs brake pads tires and a wide assortment from MRP will work on most scooters.

Scootertronics continues to test parts and will be coming out with kits to get more from the 50cc 139QMB engine as in air filters, roller weights and carbs re jetted you can buy right from our site and out in right away to get more speed.

Tanks sales of the Tank Touring 150 have done well with only white left in the DE version and all colors of the standard ready to ship with scootertronics throwing in a trunk for those who ask.

Have not done much ridding because if the cool weather but will very soon.

Spring is here at least for scooter riders. They are coming out in droves and taking to the streets on their new machines or kicking the dust off those that have been sitting only to find dead batteries, clogged carbs and closed petcock valves. Scootertronics has a good stock of all parts to get you back up and running asap.

The Vento Rebellion is a cool little machine and fun to cruise on. A real motorcycle unlike ridding a scooter. My Verucci 150GTX gets up and goes a little faster but there is nothing like the beef of a five-speed manual trans to wake you up.

The Strada RX200 does belong at the top of the 150s with an oil cooler and racing cam to get that extra horse power. This one scooter a high performance coil and CDI should be on to get the best results and a little more top end. A MRP Rainbow pipe would be an added pleasure also.

As we build up on MRP Speed parts we will put together a high performance package just for the 49cc class of scooters so everyone can get 40-50mph always form their Geely Falcon 18 or Strada RX8 which is a good candidate for the high performance parts with its 12" wheels and Yamati engine that gets 40mph out of the box. We have had great results with an 80cc kit with racing cam either from Power Sports factory or MRP Speed.

Scootertronics is moving into some new offices in an office building in Waldorf Maryland close to our retail store partners Scooter Express. Our office and shop Will still be open for service and testing of scooters and some mods done by myself. We are working with Power Sports Factory and MRP Speed on high performance parts for 50cc-150cc and just plain better parts than we can get that are stock for all scooters. These include CDIs to get more revs plus high out coils and vairator weights for more take off power. Of course we like to test all parts to make sure they actually do something like make the scooter run better and faster. We have choseni a few customers to test these for us and anyone who reads this blog can contact us and we could work something out for you to get free parts to try and write us a review to post on our sites. We have started listing our MRP parts now and carry alot of parts for all scooters, if they are not listed simply write us an email and we will contact you with a quote for what you need. Alot of folks have a tough time getting parts and we have plenty.

Just starting my testing of a Vento Rebellion 150cc motorcycle and I have to say it feels good. After a few adjustments I got it running good and starting with ease. Breaking in in slowly so I am only up to 45mph right now and once I get a few miles on her I will open up and hope to get 50-55mph which will be plenty. I got one of the last ones from Power Sport Factory that they had at this time. Most likely I will offer these on scootertronics but only after I check it out real good. I will also be getting a Spider 250 next to see what they are all about then moving to the V-Thunder to check that one out.

Scootertronics is now having quite a problem with one of our scooter vendors where they just can not seem to provide the level of customer service we demand. Because of this we might have to drop this line from our site. They do have a very popular scooter we have done well with but its not worth it. We have stopped selling them as of now till all issues are worked out. I would say who it is but at this time I think it would not be a good thing. The only reason I say anything is so our customers understand we will not fool around with bad scooter distributors, it will all come in the wash sooner or later because what goes around comes around just as with the dealers who sell at the lowest price just to get a sale then find they have no product to sell. If they are selling at a lower price that just does not make sense they will not give any support because they have no over head which means bad phone service, INTERNET service, parts supply and everything else a stand up scooter dealer must have to give good support. I see and hear this everyday and try to help all you have gotten stuck but its hard when we sell the same just for alittle more and they bought somewhere else now can not get a light bulb or spacer for a brand new scooter.

Scooter Turbo Series

Feb ended strong with our very own Streaker 150 holding its own in our promo for 1399.99 delivered. There are few left in cooper but we have moved on to the GT version which has the cell phone indicator which I hope all understand is a blue tooth activated device only. The mirror mounts have been upgraded which were a problem on all 150s plus better graphics and such, some of our GTs were shipped with the old stickers of 150R which can be changed.

Tank sales of the Touring have slacked off some what and I know its due to the price increase from 1399.99 to 1599.99 but Tank continues to increase its price to us. We do see it for 1399.99 at some sites and know they are giving it away just wonder what kind of support they offer if they can give away scooters still it makes you think. We still offer for 1499.99 for DE as a phone order.

We are moving our main office closer to store plus so we may hire a little more help. I personally can not wait because this will give me the room I have needed all along to run Scootertonics the way it needs to be done to provide service for all our customers.

We have picked up Marlin clocks, Magnegraphix, and Sunglass Hut products as extras for all our scooters. These will be generally giveaways for being a scootertronics customers. The clocks will go along with scooters that do not have them like our Turbo series. Sunglasses for all, we all need so you will get them for buying from scootertronics.

Scootertronics Turbo series of 50cc scooters will get a huge push this year. They have proven to be the best performers and have had zippo issues with them. The Classic Euro Retro GT, Metro Sport X-1 Turbo and the Metro Duo Turbo round out this line form Meitian. These along with our Streaker 150 is the Scootertronics line that is our own design efforts with Red Streak Motors.
