Scooter Rides 2006
My Vento Rebellion
New 150 CE Chrome Edition
Whats amazing is the weather for ridding lately has been great. I am sure all owners have broken out the scoots and had a ride or two by now. Well I get my Yas Yas out every morning about 745am when I roll down my front yard out on the street facing the Potomac river and cruise to Waldorf to the office where I actually do my best work getting everyone their new scoots and help others with their old ones. Of course I can no longer handle the phones by myself so I look to my new prospects to help me with the many calls we get. Scootertronics is planning new things for 2006 like our testing of new Avanti 150s and are looking for a few customers willing to help out with this venture. Some close to us in surrounding states would be great. Looks like our DR Pully test with 150s went well with the correct weights working well 18X14 14 grams, 18X14 8grams for 150s and 16X13 with both 6.5 grams and 5.5 grams working the best for 50cc and in stock. We feel by adding MRP products like DR Pulley variator and roller weights plus an iridium plug from NGK you just get a better performing scooter that gets results each time you ride. Just like high performance parts fro a classic car just make it look sound and feel better same foe your scooter.
Look for guest bloggers from scooted and Geely board soon here at Scootertronics.
Now on the new Chrome Strada 150CTE this is one slamming scooter. I thought the RX200 was the bomb but with digital dash gas shocks and front and rear disc brakes it gives Vento and Avanti a run for the money for sure and has many eyes popping. The ride is smooth but still working in the top speed with only 76 miles on this baby we know went around 150 but I am going to go with 58 as top speed. This is aligned with most 150s using the 157 engine. Only the Avanti uses the Linhai Yamaha engine which will make it a tad faster and more powerful. We have the new Avanti 150in stock now with the rest in the water.
