To whom it may concern:

I just wanted to let you know that I won't be calling or e-mailing you again. I feel that it is ok with you, but I wanted to let someone know. I have referred five people to you, and I called with a question about my own scooter. I was very unhappy about the phone call today.

I called with a question about my scooter not starting. We discussed blowing out to tube to the carb. to make sure that the bike was getting gas...which is fine. I started talking about my battery going down as well and the man became very defensive. He probably thought that I wanted something for free, but I really just wanted advice. My scooter has 400 miles on it and it is 3-4 months old. I told him that I only let it sit for a week and have been starting it just about every day after that. He said that was not possible because I would have more miles on it than that, and that I was just letting it sit. When I tried to start the scooter in the past few days, Ismelled gas (which I was probably flooding it) but then I could not start it again even 30 mins later because my battery had run down. I would charge the battery and it would start right up. Last night I let it charge all night and it did not start this morning and the cranks were getting slower as the battery went back down. When I first purchased the scooter it ran great and am only now having this problem. When I was describing the situation with the battery, the man became frustrated with me and said, "What is that you want me to say to you, Sir?" I wanted to trouble shoot the battery! One of my friends has already bought a scooter and could not even start it for the first time for the last 3-weeks. I left 2 phone messages and no one had returned my call. I didn't want to keep referring my friends if they can't get any service after the sale. He said that he was sorry that no one got back to me but, honestly, it did not seem genuine and he just wanted me off the phone. He told me to hold on, layed the phone down, and began talking and eventually cussing to the person he had on the other line. ("I've been on this phone all f***ing day!" is what he said to them.)

The reason I came to you was because even though I live in a beach-populated area near the Atlantic Ocean, there were not many scooter dealers yet for the size bike I was looking for. This was one instance where ordering online doesn't pay as far as service after the sale goes. I feel like my sale ,my friends sale from you, and the four other friends that I have gotten excited about my scooter are just a "drop in the bucket" to the sales that you do and therefore I don't feel like we matter. I have 3 men that want a more efficient mode of transportation back and forth to work and a husband and wife that each want one. It's a shame because a little understanding would yield thousands of dollars in sales. $3000 in sales have already come your way.
