Cold Snap 2007

Well we are getting our real first cold snap here in MD so I have put my scooters and bikes down for the rest of the winter and get them back out in March -April. Its good to bring batteries inside, drain gas and cover to preserve your scooters and motorcycles. Got alot of use this past year on a V-5 CFMoto plus a Verucci 150GTX both gave me no problems expect for general care.

During the colder months scootertronics takes this time to order parts and scooters. This is actually the best time to buy. All distributors are clearing out and introducing new models at Dealer Expo. Scootertronics has a number of Linhai Yamaha Strada RX8s two stroke scooters that we will sell already upgraded with double exhaust pipes plus roller weights and belts. These puppies fly at about 50mph. A little scary for a small scooter but alot of fun.

Start Off with A Bang

Well scootertronics started 2007 off with a bang as in a huge back fire that I thought blew the bottom out of an engine, Tommy and I were trying to get a Howhitt cart running and we install a big manifold and 30mm carb and this thing took off with a bang then started to tear up the lawn. Well there was no damge done it just needed to get that one bang now shes fine. Seems as if high performance parts are really the thing to get now a days. Alot folks have discovered our 139QMB kits and belts. A kelvar Polini belt is the way to go for better performance right out of the box. And while you are in here change to slidding roller weights for a even bigger difference. The 150 high performance parts always move well because everybody wants thier scooter to do alittle more and most people who ride the 150s are doing it to get to work. A scooter is certainly the way to go to save money. A chinese 150 can be delivered to your home for a small price with huge rewards. Our most popular 150right now has been the JMStar Z-Bike which is the sporty style everyone is used to in alot of different names. Scootertronics tripped over the JMStar and found it to be the best performer in this style of all the rest and there is many in this style. Not only faster but looks the best and has the best parts. Tommy was trying to kill himself doing wheelies on a Z-Bike, we stock this one. We have made this one our own. Our Tank Classic 150 we delivered ready to ride to NC made it with no problems but after a short ride and filling with gas it leaked out. We are still working out this problem and customer all of a sudden is not having the problem so we think it was just flooded. Ours here in MD we belive is running out gas tank vent, I will update this problem later.

Happy New Year 2007

Brand New Year A new year is always a good thing for me. I can start brand new all across the board just as I do for every new day. Nothing has to be the same and I do not treat it that way. With each new day and each new year I know more than I did the day or year before. Scootertronics has come along way in 2006 not only in scooter sales but with parts, high performance parts and of course our retail location in Sykesville, MD. Scootertronics introduced ATVs this past holiday season and have a few out there so time will tell whether they hold as well as promised form Avanti. Avanti is the only brand we offer. Scootertronics always stats out slow with new products until they are proven so in the next couple of months we will know what we have gotten into to with ATVs. Mostly sales were of the smaller ones like 70cc and 110cc for kids. Dealer Network Scootertronics will work on lisiting repair shops across the nation. With so many dealers selling over the internet and offering no support at all it hurts the ones who do. Scootertronics will help locate a repair shop for any customer who buys a scooter from scootertronics. We are taking a page form the big boys so everyone gets help the need.
