Feb Dealer Expo Indy

Yes Scootertronics visited the Dealer Expo in Indy again this year. Such a blast seeing every scooter in one place to go over in person. Keeway Motors was on our list with their impressive QJ line of two strokes and 150cc four stroke models and even a 90cc model. Not sure why they picked this one but we have our eye on these for 2007.

Q Link was impressive with the CF Moto engines that are at the top with their 250cc Liquid Cooled engine found in most 250s this year plus the V-5 motorcycle which Q Link brands as their Legency model. We are considering offering the QLink 150 Peagus model along with a 50cc four stroke model. Scootertronics will take a look into these models with Dennis from CBXman to give them a ride in March.

Scootertronics always hooks up with MRP in Indy and this time Val was there who can be seen in the MRP parts catolg which is out now. New products that will make it into our stock will be new 51mm four stroke kits and 300cc liquid cooled kits for the CF Moto engines as well as Kymco.

Dragon Custom chroke pipes mufflers and air intakes are good news on scootertronics.com with full body kits for scooters from Diamo, Kymco and Strada mainly the SS300 which is the same as the Linhai Mainstreet. Dragon custom offers a customized look for your scooter to stand out from all the rest. There is a body kit for the Diamo Tracer 150 so these should spill over into mosy GY6 based 150s. The Diamo Tracer 150 is the same as Strada 150s plus the JMStar 150s.

Its great to have Dragon Custom on board with us we have just gotten down to the last of our chrome parts and they come in with a whole new line, we were getting just some stock chrome parts but now Dragon Custom offers a much better product that defines ones scooter from the rest.

Chrome was a big thing this year at dealer expo with JMStar showing off some new panels on 15cc scooters like the Streaker and Terminator.

Feb sales were strong in high performance parts but rather slow for scooter sales. In just the last week of Feb we have seen a few scooters go out the door but with 6 weeks of cold weather there was not much going on. This never stops an endless flow of parts that stays better much soild all the time. At least it keeps me busy during the cold spells.
