The Unassembled Scooter
Scootertronics has opened with the first six months being pretty much a roller coaster ride with the weather playing a major factor plus the first full season of scooter sales from a retail shop. Online sales has jumped thru the roof for parts with high performance parts playing a huge role not only in sales of hp parts shipped directly to the customer for installation but a good share being done in our shop before customer receives scooter. Along with our ready to ride deliveries locally we have been able to ship scooters ready to ride with great success. This brings us to the point of the unassembled scooter. With more and more companies importing scooters unassembled this has put a major crimp in our online sales. Not only does this allow anyone selling online to offer a very cheap price that Scootertronics can not match with any success it removes the value the scooter may have had when its not in parts. Scootertronics will simply sell online as ready to ride so the customer gets value with the scooter and not a crate of parts to assembly with no warranty. This way we can cut our problems down to a manageable level that will be somewhat acceptable.
Scootertronics will continue to move in the direction of quality products over price driven products. When only considering price as a selling and profit point it’s been proven that this is only harmful to our future. Scootertronics will provide an assembled scooter to all that want value and reliability over price. When a scooter is delivered completely assembled it has been taken out of shipping crate assembled started up in our shop and taken for up to three rides to check everything plus work out any kinks that might be there. A check list of work performed is included with the scooter along with info on how to service and take care of your scooter.
