Scootertronics shop in Sykesville MD does get its fair share of all types of scooters mainly the chinese brands and no names that are popping up everytwhere. Its easy to tell which models are sellling the most or have sold the most for these are getting repairs and upgrades. The Strada and Vento 150 models are very popular plus a few Roketas and Tanks are always coming in. The 50cc four stroke engine is an easy upgradable engine so we see quite a few of these and know just what to do to get them running well. This engine is found on every chinese scooter we see plus the same as Tawain just a better one is built.
Scootertronics has added another mechanic who I still need to me in person. Its hard to get to shop often during busty times so I get to met Rick this Sunday only after he cleaned up the shop for us. We are very busy here and tend to get too much work. We most always put the customers we have on our scooters first which puts some of the tougher jobs behind. We are still getting alot of orders where customers are getting upgrades done before recieving scooters for the first time. We are lucky in one way is to get a good prep job done to all our local purchases so we do not see them back anytime soon. Our shipments of ready to ride scooters has gotten us to add people to our staff plus it gets one more person to answer phones.
Internet sales
This time of year still heavy on shipping out of state of our most popualr modesl which is the RX200 which is sold out at this time. The RX200 will be back with a new 2007 model which will still tote the oil coooler racing cam shaft and larger piston and cylinder.
Our most popular 50cc models are all back in stock thi smonth after a few weeks of what color can I get this week. All Retro models and colors are in as well as Duo and Streaker plus our new model Sport R which has such featues as dual rear shocks rear disc brakes plus a trunk.
