Looks like Tommy and crew at Scootertronics The Scooter Shop where you can get your scooter serviced, repaired or see some of our new models on display. We are going to add alot of different scooter products to our shop in the very near future. In stock now in MD for local customers are the Keeway Matrix (RX8i) which toppped out at 52mph during testing which is really good for a two stroke 49cc scooter. We also have the Keeway Hurricance plus Vento Zip LI, Vento Triton GT5 and Triton LI plus Expressway 250, Metro Duo and several Retro styles ready for pick up. What we are doing is making our shop more customer friendly so you see what we have in one place and see our mechanics working on scooters along with prep jobs and shipping. Not that you can get into the shop but you will be able to see the care that goes into a repair or service of your scooter. We will be adding Vento Scooter Clothing plus more helmets and scooter trunks, locks and parts for local pick up such as belts and oil.

Looks like we are well into our move this week after finding out about big changes at the property we are leasing for our scooter shop. At the Scootertronics Scooter Shop you may get your scooter fixed serviced and upagrded with our many upgrade mods to get the best performance from your scooter. We are taking over more space.

Our small move is only going to allow scootertronics to operate on a much larger scale giving us more room for a parts dept, repair benches and showroom square footage to go up. I am figuring it will take at least to the start of next season as I call it around March 1, 2008 to have a complete Scootertronics Scooter Shop running at full speed. During this time we still will operate as we have for the past year and a half, customers will start seeing more scooters and getting repairs and service done quicker. With two full time mechanics doing prep and recrates we are able to keep up with sales getting a 7 day turn around for a delivery to a residence of a fully prepped and assmbled scooter which includes our road test. We also have Mary Chaffee answering our pones and a very important task of keeping vin numbers neat and orderly to keep track of our scooters coming and going.

Since Scootertronics has started only offering scooters that have a company behind them offering warranties of at least a year with high quality parts being used in the manufacturing of scooters. One big change just to show where we are going, most of the scooters we offer now have 12X4 Kenda tires instead of the smaller tires of no name brands as stock tires. Of course the 13" on most 150s have been upgraded as well. The Quainjiang (QJ) manufacturers bring us the Vento scooters as well as Keeway and some Strada scooters like the RX8, which by the way the ones we have sold have hit 50 out the box, I am pretty sure we have some video of this posted on the site.

Scotertronics has added the Vento Clothing line for those who want the complete package. With leather jackets and Kelvar lined gloves the Vento Clothing line will be a big hit with all scooter owners with a look all thier own. There is not any scooter clothing out there so we are sure this is a great addition for all. Summer Slam

With summer sales and repairs keeping us very busy we are still able to introduce a new line of scooters that Scootertronics feels are the best we have seen in a long time. The Keeway Scooters have brought high quality plus a salmming look to its scooters now offered in the US. From the same mold as Vento and some Stradas the Keeway Matrix 50 takes the place of the Strada RX8i which is no longer offered by Strada. Being QJ manufactured its nothing new that they are the highest quality 49cc-150cc scooters on the market today. Althought they come with a higher price tag its so worth it to get an undamaged reday to go scooter than a crate of parts, which we have never been a big fan of and are slowly getting away from this kind of sale.

Ready to ride deliveries has been the future of scootertronics and is getting rave reviews. Customers can recieve a scooter and gas up and start ridding the same hour they get not a few days latter after assembly and troyble shooting to get started.

The new Yamaha Zuma 08 is out and has customers storming the doors for upgardes due to how slow the new model goes. Pipes and variator kits have been the way to go at this point.

 

The Best Scooters for 2007

Scootertronics has searched and tried just about every chinese made scooter brand out there from Geely, Tank, JMstart, Meitian, OJ, Vento plus if you just image the many brands never heard of that come thru our shop.

Aove all chinese made scooters for four stroke models the Meitian line has been the best performer as far as performance and relibilty. Plenty of room for two riders great power for a four stroke 49cc motor that is easily upgraded. Sometimes a simple jet replacement got these four stroke scooters to get even more speed on the top end. For better take off speeds a kelvar belt and 5 gram Dr Pully weights worked wonders. For those who need hill climbimng at 35mph they have added a 51mm kit that does the trick.

So at the end of today Aug 20 a few happy customers taking home some new helmets , Keeway Matrix 50 and a Vento Zip along with a Triton LI two stroke in yellow, great looking scooters. We have tested the Vento Triton along side a Silver Strada RX8 for a great ride that produced amazing results.
