Honda GY6 49cc 150cc CN250 CF250 250cc Engines

Honda Clone Engines

The exact date I am not sure of but it was about 5-7 years ago Honda developed these engines for the Helix and others to produce a very reliable powerful design that the Asian manuafactirers have cloned for thier own versions in scooters, go carts and ATVs with great sucess. These engines can be found in almost all chinese and Tawainese products. With excellent performance parts for all three it only creates a very affordable and reliable machine to enjoy, commute on to work, run errands and of course have an all out blast ridding as long as saftey is in the fore front always.

The basic GY6 139QMB engine found in 49cc four stroke scooters from Kymco, Shwinn, Diamo, Avanti, Geely, Tank, Roketa, Meitian, Zen and many others is a staple for small street legal scooters. Although built to go 30mph from the factory with some doing 40-45 with quality trans parts, intakes and heads will produce a scooter that can keep up with traffic for a city commute with ease. Adding a cylinder kit with exhaust does wonders and can very easily bolt right up. Scootertronics is now offering high performance clutches form Prodigy and Dr Pully that give the bottom end needed to get out of the way in traffic add top end speed and hill climbing, which was a big problem for four stroke 49cc scooters, this is cured with clutch, kelvar belt plus variator and Dr Pully slider weights.
